GARNIC RELEASES NEW “GarBURN” STRIPPING SYSTEM

Garnic Technologies again proved themselves as leaders in environmentally conscious & energy efficient stripping technology development. The development is a result in general customer dissatisfaction in the three types of stripping presently available, namely:

  1. Sand furnace
  2. “Burn out” Furnaces
  3. Chemical Tank dipping methods.

The NEW “GarBURN” Stripping System strips jigs and fixtures using precisely controlled recirculated air. The time to strip most jigs is reduced and allowing operators to reduce accumulation and the need for backup jigs.

Because of the controlled, lower average burn-off temperature, product reworks may are processed quickly without surface deterioration, deformation or distortion.

The system is unique with the following features & benefits

  1. Controlled temperature to burn the jigs or reworked product means that minimal or no distortion due to the excessive heat in the traditional sand and burn-off furnaces.
  2. The unique inbuilt heat exchanger means that we need only one burner instead of the conventional two. The total energy saving is around half of the conventional burn-off furnaces
  3. High speed recirculated air actually wipes the jigs clean of ash, ready for use at the end of the heat cycle.
  4. The burn-off chamber runs at negative pressure so leaks cannot create an odour in the factory.
  5. There is no exposed ceramic fiber in the design. Conventional furnaces deteriorate very quickly. The door seals cause odour and reduced efficiency.
